Yes. Our Cynosure Elite iQ features Nd:YAG 1064nm technology specifically designed for safe, effective treatment on darker skin tones. Unlike many IPL devices, this medical-grade laser can treat all skin types on the Fitzpatrick scale (types I through VI), including Indian, Middle Eastern, Asian, and African skin tones.

Hair grows in cycles, and laser treatment is most effective during the active growth phase, which is why multiple sessions are necessary.

At Beauty Atelier, we treat virtually all body areas including the face, upper lip, chin, underarms, arms, bikini line, Brazilian, full legs, half legs, back, chest, stomach, and shoulders. During your free consultation at our Kogarah clinic, we will discuss which areas you would like treated and create a personalised plan.
Shave the treatment area 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid waxing, plucking, or threading for at least 4 weeks prior as the hair follicle needs to be intact. Stay out of direct sun and avoid fake tan for 2 weeks before treatment. Arrive with clean skin, free of lotions, deodorant, or makeup on the treatment area.
